Three golfers from southwestern Saskatchewan remain positioned in the top 10 of their respective categories after the second round of play at the Saskatchewan Junior Championships, held at the Legends Golf Club in Warman. The event, a three-day tournament, is scheduled to conclude Thursday.

Chloe Wills of Sask Landing Golf Resort advanced to second place in the Junior Women's division following a one-over-par 73 in her second round, a score that included four birdies. Her cumulative score stands at 11-over par for the tournament, leaving her two shots behind the division leader, Grace Odnokon of Saskatoon, as the final round approaches.

In the Junior Boys U15 division, Jace Munro of Elmwood Golf Club maintained his position within the top five. Munro recorded an eight-over-par 80 in the second round, which included three birdies, bringing his tournament total to 10-over par. Munro trails the division leader, Keaton Kreklewich of Melville, by 10 strokes entering the last day.

Soren Richards, representing Chinook Golf Course, remained in third place in the Junior Boys U10 standings. Richards shot a 96 in the second round, earning 12 Stableford points. He is now within three points of moving into second place in his division.
